Terms & Conditions - MiGS - Malta iGaming Seminar 2016

1.General

1.1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the usage and registrations through the website www.maltaigamingseminar.com as well as other URLs belonging to MIGS (“the Websites”), as may be specified from time to time. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, MIGS is referred to as “we” or “us” and the user as “you” or “the User”. The Terms and Conditions also apply to related mobile or other platforms enabled by you.
1.2. MIGS is a limited liability company incorporated in Malta, and subject to Maltese law, having its registered address at Level 1, Suite 5, Tower Business Centre, Tower Street, Swatar, BKR 4013, Malta.
1.4.These Terms and Conditions come into force through your use of the Websites.
1.5.You must read these Terms and Conditions carefully in their entirety before continuing to use the Websites. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use or continue to use the Websites.
1.6.You fully understand and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein, as may be amended by us from time to time.
1.7.Whenever we amend these Terms and Conditions in a way that would limit your current rights or otherwise may be to your detriment, we will notify you prior to such changes taking effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms and Conditions, you must stop using the Websites.

2.Registrations

2.1 When you register on our Websites you are confirming your participation in our annual MIGS Event (igaming Seminar) held in Malta or any other event which MIGS may promote through the Websites from time to time.
2.2 By registering on our Websites you confirm your acceptance to the terms and agree to make payment to MIGS of the registration fee. The registration fee includes day passes to the Exhibition and the Seminar, access to the Poker Tournament, Networking Coffee Breaks, Lunches, Cocktail receptions and VIP Closing Party (exact details provided on the registration page.) If there is any discrepancy between the foregoing and the registration page, the latter shall have precedence.
2.3 Hotel booking is not covered by the registration and you are required to book your accommodation. The registration fee excludes any booking fees.
2.4 MIGS may recommend a hotel for our participants however makes no guarantees on the suitability of this hotel and shall not in any way be liable for any damages or losses caused to you during your stay at the hotel.
2.5 MIGS reserves the right to refuse registrations.

3. Refunds and Cancellation Policy

3.1 Registration Cancellation Policy: No refunds or credit will be provided for cancellations within thirty (30) days from the start of the MIGS Event. Cancellations received before 30 days from the start of the MIGS Event will receive a full refund of the registration fee, less any applicable processing fees. For cancellations received during the last thirty (30) days from the MIGS Event’s start date, refunds are given at the sole discretion of MIGS, provided that a good and valid reason for cancellation is provided.
3.2 No-shows will not receive a refund or credit.

Refunds: Registration payments made via credit card will be refunded to the original credit card and can take up to four weeks to be processed. Registration payments made via cheque will be refunded via cheque to the original payee and will take six to eight weeks to be processed. Payments made through other payment accounts will be paid back to that account.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1. You attend the Event at your own risk. MIGS shall not be liable for any loss, costs, expenses or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or otherwise, arising in relation to your participation at our events.
4.2. You hereby agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless us, our directors, employees, partners, and service providers for any cost, expense, loss, damages, claims and liabilities howsoever caused that may arise in relation to your participation at our event.
4.3. To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability arising out of or in connection with your participation at our events, regardless of the cause of actions (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed €100.

5. Severability

5.1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from these Terms and Conditions and all other provisions shall remain in force unaffected by such severance.

6. Assignment

6.1. We reserve the right to assign or otherwise lawfully transfer this agreement. You shall not assign or otherwise transfer this agreement.

7. Entire Agreement

7.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Websites and, save in the case of fraud, supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between you and us with respect to the Websites.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

8.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Laws of Malta.
8.2. The parties agree that any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
